A lover of creating experiences and wine education, DeLauren Everett, founder and curator of Blends & Bubbly (formerly known as Culture Wine Blogger), has worked as a corporate events professional and has been a lover of wine for over 12 years.
DeLauren’s desire to bring people together in environments that engage and inspire has given her opportunities to manage a diverse portfolio of events including board of directors, grand openings, celebrity, learning and development, employee appreciation, vendor, and social events for well known and highly respected companies including Lowe’s Home Improvement and Sony Electronics, along with independent brokerage firm, LPL Financial. Her earlier professional experience includes 7 years of retail banking management with financial powerhouses Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
DeLauren’s vast experience in customer service coupled with her passion for experiential events and her love for wine, DeLauren is on a journey to open a vineyard in North Carolina. While in the process of opening her winery, DeLauren is documenting her experience via her blog and is partnering with vineyard owners throughout North Carolina to promote and highlight North Carolina wines and wineries. She also serves as a wine consultant that coaches her clients to utilize their senses to have an experience wine.
To further her knowledge in wine, DeLauren is certified as a Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level 2 scholar along with practicing winemaking from her home and has currently made over 50 bottles of her own wine.
DeLauren has visited close to 50 vineyards and wineries in well-known locations such as Napa Valley, Temecula, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Charlteston and up and down the state of North Carolina, some of which she's visited multiple times.
A wife and mother of the sweetest and most special boy and girl in the world, DeLauren spends a lot of time having fun with her family. She enjoys bringing her friends together for a day of fun and to enjoy lot's of blends, bubbly and laughs. She also loves fitness and going to church on the weekend!
